Video Editing
This is my first time ever working with Final cut pro. As I began editing my video, I learned more and more about the software and it's capabilities. I cut out some shots and shortened other shots to stay within my time limit. The first scene when we see the girl put her chips in her room was completely removed. I felt that that shot wasn't needed to tell my story. I blurred out the people walking in the background of the hallway scene so the viewer could focus on the main character approaching the door. I used color corrector to brightened some of my shots and make the colors more vibrant. Once I became more familiar with Final Cut, I added special effects that was not included in my storyboard. The clock I added represents a stop in time. In that scene the main character stops to think about what her next move will be. The halo in the last scene was made in Photoshop. The halo emphasizes the character's innocent facial expression.
